About Lesson

An International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number is a globally unique identification or serial number that is given to all mobile phones and smart phones. It is a 15 digit number assigned to all cellular devices, which identifies your device within the mobile network. We can use this number to present a mobile phone from being used by another person or phone company if it has been lost or stolen.

The IMEI can be displayed on the screen of the phone by entering *#06# into the keypad on most phones. It can also be printed behind the battery of the phone.
